Terms of Use (Public Offer)

1. About this document
1.1. This is an agreement between the publisher of the Value Finder app, Denis Aleksandrovich Plakhotnikov, self-employed, Taxpayer ID 310207425702 ("we"), and you, the user of the app ("you"). It applies to the Android app and to the web version.
1.2. The agreement is a public offer (Article 437(2) of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation): we offer to enter into a contract on these terms with any adult who accepts them.
1.3. You accept the agreement (acceptance under Article 438(3) of the Civil Code) when you tick "I accept the Terms of Use (public offer) and the Privacy Policy" in the app and tap "Start" or "Continue". A Pro subscription is also taken out separately, on the subscription page (section 7).
1.4. The app cannot be used without accepting these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the separate consent to the processing of personal data. If you do not agree with the terms, do not use the app and delete it.
2. What the app does
2.1. Value Finder is an information tool for calculations. It removes the margin from the Pinnacle line, estimates the fair probability of an outcome and shows where a bookmaker's odds are above that estimate (positive expectation, EV). The app has a manual odds check, a betting journal with results (profit, ROI, CLV) and a line scan through The Odds API service.
2.2. The app does not take bets and is not a bookmaker, a totalisator or a gambling operator. It has no "Place bet" buttons, no links to bookmaker websites and no betting ads.
2.3. The app does not predict results and does not promise winnings. Calculations are an estimate, not a guarantee. An edge, if there is one, only shows over hundreds of bets; losing streaks are possible in the short run. The calculations are not financial, investment or any other personal advice.
2.4. Odds and lines come from third-party services. They may be delayed, change, be incomplete or wrong. Before any decision, check the odds with the bookmaker itself.
3. Who may use the app
3.1. Adults only, 18 or older. By accepting the agreement you confirm that you are 18 or older.
3.2. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your country, including laws on betting and gambling, and you decide yourself whether to bet, where and how much. All decisions and their consequences are yours.
4. Rights to the app
4.1. The exclusive rights to the app, its code, design and name belong to the rights holders.
4.2. We grant you a simple (non-exclusive) licence to use the app on your devices for personal purposes for the term of the agreement, worldwide. The free version is free of charge; Pro features are available for the paid subscription period.
4.3. You may not sell, rent out or distribute the app in your own name; bypass the limits of the free version; interfere with the app or the services it connects to; or use the app to break the law.
5. The Odds API key and third-party services
5.1. A scan needs your own The Odds API key (the-odds-api.com). You get the key yourself on the service's website; your relationship with the service is governed by its terms. The key is stored only on your device, and the app sends it only to The Odds API.
5.2. The key has a request limit (credits). A scan uses your key's credits; the app shows the cost and warns you if a scan is expensive, but we are not responsible for The Odds API's limits, prices or availability.
5.3. The manual check and the journal work without a key and without internet.
6. Free version
6.1. Free features: the leagues Russian Premier League, EPL, Champions League (football) and NHL (hockey); a scan with your own key no more than once every 3 hours; after signing in, a scan without your own key through our server for the free leagues, no more than 2 scans a day; manual check for any sport; the journal with results; an example scan without a key.
6.2. The free version may change; the current list is on the subscription page in the app.
7. Pro
7.1. Pro unlocks additional features for the period paid for. They are listed on the Pro page in the app before payment. Features marked "coming soon" do not work yet and are not part of what the price commits us to.
7.2. Prices: 500 ₽ per week; 900 ₽ for 2 weeks; 1,690 ₽ per month; 4,490 ₽ for 3 months. The price shown on the Pro page at the time of payment is final for the period paid for. Price changes do not affect a period that is already paid. Launch prices apply to payments made on or before 31 December 2026.
7.3. Free trial: 3 days, once per account. No card is needed and nothing is charged; when the trial ends, Pro simply turns off. During the trial, scanning through our server works with limits: no more than 5 leagues per scan and a limited number of requests per day; with your own The Odds API key these limits do not apply.
7.4. Pro is a one-time payment for the chosen period. There is no automatic renewal and no repeat charges: when the period ends, Pro turns off; to continue, pay for a new period. If you pay while Pro is still active, the new period is added to the remaining one.
7.5. You may withdraw from the contract at any time by paying only the expenses we actually incurred (Article 32 of the Russian Consumer Rights Protection Law). In that case we refund the unused full days of the paid period pro rata. Write to us at valuefinder.noreply@yandex.ru; the money is returned by the same method used for payment.
7.6. Payment goes through the YooKassa payment service (NCO YooMoney LLC): from the app you go to the YooKassa payment page and then return to the app. Card details are entered with YooKassa; we do not receive or store them. The payment method is not saved: each period is paid for separately. A receipt is generated in the "Moy Nalog" (My Tax) app and sent by email. No VAT is charged: we pay the professional income tax (Federal Law No. 422-FZ of 27.11.2018).
7.7. Until payments are set up, Pro cannot be paid for and nothing is charged; the app says so on the Pro page.
8. Liability
8.1. The app is provided "as is". We try to keep it free of errors, but we do not guarantee that the calculations will lead to profit or that third-party data will always be accurate and available.
8.2. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the results of bets or for decisions you make with the help of the app, nor for third-party services (The Odds API, the app store, the payment service, bookmaker websites).
8.3. Nothing in this agreement limits your statutory consumer rights.
9. Data
9.1. The journal, settings, bankroll and key are stored only on your device. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Consent to the processing of personal data is a separate document.
9.2. Journal backup: export a CSV in the Journal section. If you delete the app or clear the browser data without a copy, the journal cannot be restored.
10. Changes to the agreement
10.1. We may change the agreement. A new version is published in the app with its date. If the changes are significant, the app will ask you to accept the new version; until you do, the app cannot be used.
10.2. If you do not agree with the new version, delete your data (More → Delete account and data) and the app. Clause 7.5 applies to any paid and unused subscription period.
11. Term and termination
11.1. The agreement is in force from acceptance until you delete your account and data.
11.2. You can stop using the app at any time: More → Delete account and data removes everything from the device and withdraws your consent to the processing of personal data.
12. Disputes and governing law
12.1. The agreement is governed by the law of the Russian Federation.
12.2. Send questions or claims to valuefinder.noreply@yandex.ru; we will reply within 10 business days. If we cannot reach agreement, the dispute is settled in court under the law, including consumer protection rules.
12.3. The agreement is made in Russian and English. If the texts differ, the Russian text prevails.
